Amazing dinner at this cozy neighborhood spot. We ordered the lobster salad and halibut carpaccio for appetizers, passatelli for our primi, followed by the duck breast. Everything was cooked and flavored to perfection, with a modern twist on Italian cooking. They also had an extensive Italian wine list that paired well with the dishes - very reminiscent of being in Italy. We look forward to trying more things on the menu!

Everything was amazing from the focaccia, fritto misto, seafood skewers, carpaccio, ravioli carbonara, red beet risotto, maple farm duck, tomahawk. Extremely high quality ingredients. The ribeye practically melted in my mouth (probably one of the best steaks I've had in my life), Passatelli was such a fantastic balance of flavors, pillowy and rich duck gnocchi. Nothing disappointed.

I made a reservation at Ciccino through the OpenTable app for a Friday evening. The process was smooth, and we were promptly seated upon arrival. Our journey began with a delightful selection of antipasti: the focaccia, scallop skewer, and lamb skewer. Focaccia: The focaccia impressed me with its crispy texture and robust herb flavor. Paired with quality olive oil, it set the tone for the meal. Scallop Skewer: The scallop skewer featured a crispy breading that encased juicy scallops. The balance of textures was spot-on, reminiscent of the equally tender lamb skewer. Lamb Skewer: Tender lamb sirloin and juicy! For our primi courses, we opted for the following: Pappardelle Lamb Ragout: This dish stole the show. The pappardelle pasta had the perfect al dente texture, and the lamb ragout was bursting with flavor. It’s safe to say this was the best pappardelle I’ve ever tasted. Ravioli Carbonara (9 pieces): While the ravioli carbonara had potential, it fell slightly short. The saltiness was a tad overpowering, even though I appreciated the creamy filling of egg yolk and pecorino foam. The unassuming storefront had piqued our curiosity during previous walks by, and finally dining there was a treat. The attentive staff added to the overall positive experience. I’m already looking forward to returning and trying their duck breast!

Delightful dinner at Ciccino. The food was amazing. I had the house made focaccia (devine), squid skewer (lightly buttered served with a nice creme condiment) and oyster, truffle ravioli. Oh and I had tiramisu for dessert. All the dishes were 10/10 and the staff were extremely attentive. I could really see the skill and detail with the ravioli dish, to how the ravioli was crafted, the truffle burnt butter sauce, accompanying truffle pearls and the chef came out to shave the truffle on top! Just superb. I was visiting san Fran alone and wanted to go to a nice restaurant that wouldn’t be too loud or had Friday night bar vibes. Ciccino was just that. Nice decor, upscale service and menu. It’s a nice place for solo diners, couples or small groups I think due to the space.

Fantastic meal, we had a special chefs tasting and wine pairing. Every dish was delicious, the ravioli was exceptional, tiramisu was magical. The owner Lindsay and her chef/husband delivered a memorable meal and I can't wait to return.
